MEET THE TEAM
Michael Collard is the leader and founder of MCP. Michael started his career in commercial real estate development upon his arrival in 1981 to the U.S. from England, and has been actively involved in real estate development since then. In 1992, Michael left his position as Regional Director of the real estate subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company, where he was responsible for development projects valued in excess of $250,000,000 to start his own commercial real estate development firm and he has never looked back.
In 1994, Michael founded Michael Collard Properties (MCP), where he serves as President. Michael started developing projects for Publix supermarkets and other necessity-based retail, and then broadened his portfolio with exciting experiential development in mixed-use settings.
Michael is a real estate expert and visionary who has a unique skill of finding ways to make difficult and/or problematic deals work by coming up with creative solutions when others cannot or have given up. Over Michael's long career, he has experienced almost all project development types including mixed-use, retail, office, industrial, multi family sale and rental, senior housing, hospitality and resort golf course development.
Michael is a Florida licensed Real Estate Broker, and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

VP & CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER
Ruth Zwieg has a unique and diverse background of 20+ years in executive leadership roles including managing strategic direction, sales teams, and marking functions in multiple industries with Fortune 500, Fortune 100, and small and start-up companies, as well as prior entrepreneurial pursuits.
At MCP, Ruth combines her artistic and creativity skills with her business acumen to provide the vision and creative direction in MCP's experiential mixed-use development projects. This includes concept and design creation of land and property acquisitions, and aesthetic selection for build outs of the acquired properties. Additional responsibilities include driving new service offerings, business development and sales, process improvement, working with architects and General Contractors, the coordination of leasing agents, and guiding the marketing/branding strategies of MCP.
Current main projects include developing the first of the concepts that we are calling The Food Factory and The Factory Bar, which is MCP's upscale take on the food hall trend. City Place Live+Work+Play luxury townhomes are also being developed for the work at home upscale lifestyle.
Ruth is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Oviedo/Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce and Oviedo Businesswomen's Network (OBN).

DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION
Paulette has been with MCP for over 14 years and manages all of the vital administrative and office management functions including insurance, financials along with payroll, and all back office functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, Human Resources, etc.
Paulette also manages MCP's smaller property management needs.

Construction Project Director
The Boehme Group, LLC
Nick has worked with MCP since 2016. He has worked in the commercial real estate industry managing projects and development for over 15 years. Nick is responsible for all aspects of MCP's construction management of ground up development and tenant improvement including project planning, project budget analysis, project scheduling, General Contractor bid process, and project closeout.

Paul "JJ"Johnson, Jr. Esquire
JJ has worked with MCP for over 15 years as MCP's attorney and handles all of its commercial transactions from property acquisition, commercial leasing, purchase and sales, real estate financing, construction, and disposition.
